MUSINGS
Named after a street in Vancouver, Canada, Hawks Series is inspired by the natural and built environment. What does a bike ride in the forest feel like compared to one in an industrial area? How does a puddle reflect the sky in contrast to looking at the ocean? What traces of these experiences are present in our daily routine? I translate these memories and inspirations into paint creating subtly layered atmospheric paintings.
