More from the Same, Same but Different series - a More from the Same, Same but Different series - a closer look at how colour shifts the entire mood of a piece.

In this group, the palette moves between extremes: soft pinks, muted greens, and greys in one body of work, and deeper, more somber tones in another. The structure stays consistent, but the feeling changes entirely depending on how the paint is chosen and layered.

It’s always interesting to see how something so simple like a shift in colour can completely alter atmosphere, weight, and emotion within the work.

Some objects stay with the process, not the place. Some objects stay with the process, not the place.

Just like my boots, 'the typewriter' has long been one of those quiet anchors - a way to think through, slow down, and return to the work with clarity.

I’m often drawn to the unexpected beauty that appe I’m often drawn to the unexpected beauty that appears at the edges of the painting process - like the palette after a day of work, or the quiet transformations that happen in my water bucket.

These works capture those incidental moments: spontaneous compositions that form by chance, revealing small, fleeting worlds within what’s usually considered leftover or residual.

Whimsical, unplanned, and always a surprise.

There’s something about the works on paper that I’ There’s something about the works on paper that I’ve always loved - they feel immediate, intimate, and direct.

They hold the same language as my larger paintings, but in a more accessible form. A way to live with the work that is often more flexible in scale and approach, while still carrying the same atmosphere and intention.

Many of these pieces are available to view through the spaces that represent my work, and most can also be custom framed depending on the setting they’re going into, something that allows them to feel very personal once they leave the studio.

I’ve included a lot of footage from these works in the space recently, and it felt like a good moment to acknowledge them, a quieter but essential part of the practice, and one that continues to evolve alongside the larger bodies of work.

While my location is changing, the connections bui While my location is changing, the connections built here don’t end - they continue to grow, evolve, and stay very much alive. I’m already planning visits back, and I look forward to keeping these relationships vibrant across distance and time.

There’s something meaningful about carrying that energy forward rather than leaving it behind. Grateful for the community here, and for the ways we’ll continue to stay connected.

Next stop, Switzerland.

Starting a little ongoing “camera roll dump” serie Starting a little ongoing “camera roll dump” series - just sharing recent fragments from the studio and day-to-day in a more unfiltered way.

Not overly curated, just small snapshots of what’s been happening lately: work in progress, in-between moments, and everything that doesn’t always make it into a finished post.

As I head into my new chapter next week, it felt right to share things a bit more as they are - present, shifting, and still unfolding.

I’ll be sharing these every so often as a way to stay connected to the rhythm of things behind the scenes.

One week left. There’s a quiet mix of emotions One week left.

There’s a quiet mix of emotions right now: gratitude, anticipation, and a bit of melancholy as I prepare to leave a place that has held so much of my work and life over the years.

It doesn’t feel like an ending so much as a transition, even if it’s one I’m still fully taking in.

This isn’t goodbye forever. There are already plans to return, to stay connected, and to keep these relationships and conversations alive across distance and time.

For now, I’m just trying to be present with it all. Truly grateful.
