Intention, attention, and attitude.

When I first heard those words (thanks to a dear student) a light went off in my head; that’s it! That’s how I approach painting.

Intention – busy/quiet/soft/dynamic
Attention – that drip, those marks, that interplay between colours
Attitude – curious, engaged, in awe

Following those threads in my painting is how I bring an art piece to fruition.

It’s a delight to share with you some of the recent fruits of my labour.You will see they run the gamut from peaceful and subtle to energetic and dynamic.
