Length: 2 & 1/2 hr – Saturday November 29 | 1:30 pm – 4:00pm

• Ever wonder how to translate your inspirations, memories, and the world around you into abstract mark making?  You will learn how paying close attention to our environment (built and natural) can help embed the painting with feeling, atmosphere, and suggestion. This demo and discussion will include: building layers of painted imagery, responding and working with the imagery that’s there, and going back into a piece in process. At the same time we will deepen our understanding of materials and learning to go with the flow (trust the process). There will be lots of time for questions.

• All materials will be supplied.
• Please arrive in clothing that you would feel comfortable getting paint on. Things might get messy.
