Dreams

Long rays, clear colours, and musical dreams. Recently, I dreamt in a musical format. Every line was sung and there was dancing. Have you had a dream like that? It was a first for me.

Speaking of dreams I often dream about painting. Colours, composition, and ideas float around. When I wake up I still have glimmers of these pieces fuelling my creativity. Mix in a walk to the studio noticing textures and a splash of the mood I would like to create (calm/dynamic) and I’m off to the races.

And my oh my have my brushes been racing this summer! As you may recall I have been working on a new body of work and I am delighted to say I have just had those artworks documented. I will be sharing images and inspirations in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

While I paint edges and catalogue the new work here is a piece from my Hawks Series.
